We create unique, hands-on experiences around the field with the aim of promoting an appreciation of nature and food among children, young people and adults alike.
Problem
Many children grow up disconnected from how food is grown.
What funding enables
Six schools and four kindergartens receive setup support, training, and long-term integration of vegetable gardens into everyday school life.

Children and teachers experience the work and joy behind regional food through hands-on gardening.
